I have been an AAMFT Approved Supervisor for almost 20 years. I enjoy helping nascent therapists find their strengths and learn where to look for answers. I am respectful, supportive, and positive with the people I supervise, just as you are with your clients. I offer individual, dyadic (more time for the same fee), and small group supervision. In addition to supervising your cases and allowing you to acquire hours towards licensure, I also do supervision for licensed psychotherapists who have a particularly difficult case or who want to add treating anxiety disorders to their clinical repertoire.
Mentoring is also important on the way to licensure: keeping solid case notes; learning how to build your practice; designing forms for intake, disclosure, release of information; negotiating with a landlord; and all the nitty-gritty details of running a private practice.
